Digital User Segment System Architect is responsible for designing the new generation of earth observation user ground segment. In design phase he/she must consider technological evolution such as “Platform as a Service”, “Software as a Services” and “Container as a Service” microservice based.
As part of Technical Design team He/She will be involved in the following task
- Engineering technical support to User Ground Segment management
- Technical management of subsystems design activities down to component level and Support to AIV team during the integration, verification and validation phase
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (3 or 5 year)
- Basic experience in system analysis and system decomposition
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and hypervisors (e.g. VMWare), including database virtualization
- Basic Knowledge of secure network architectures, vulnerability testing, threat modeling
- Sound Knowledge of Agile/DevOps models
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of model-based methods, techniques and tools (e.g. SysML, UML)
- Knowledge of relevant ECSS standards
- Fluency spoken and written Business English
- Place of work: Rome, Availability to travel EU and extra-EU
